I just created this site. I'm pretty excited about it. Check in frequently for music updates, new random thoughts, etc. Should be kind of awesome. See ya around.
I did not start playing music until I was 14, but the music was always there trying to escape out of me. As a young boy I would stand on top of the church pew and play air violin while the choir sang. I would turn inanimate objects into musical instruments. Tennis rackets became electric guitars, and my desks in school became drum kits to all of my teachers’ dismays. My first guitar was a $25 Japanese model that I bought from a friend in school. Although my guitars have dramatically changed since then, my love for playing and writing has not. As I got better on the guitar I realized that something was missing. It was the counterpart of everything I was doing on guitar, which was my voice. Once I started to apply the two together, I found that songwriting was what I wanted to dedicate my life to.
