Patience is a Virtue

Some things take a long time. Especially when something great is trying to be achieved. Such is the case with my latest record. I've been in three different studios and two different states striving towards its completion. I suppose with art, one becomes a slave of the creative process. Sure, an artist can force things to be done because of a deadline, but the art almost always suffers. Fortunately (and unfortunately) I have no deadlines. But let's be honest... this thing needs to get done soon. Everything is waiting on it. Everything depends on it. I'm all in at this point, so what's the point of cutting corners though? I'm going to see it through with the same energy, involvement, and passion I had when I first walked into the studio. For the record, I haven't been recording this whole time. The majority of the time has been spent writing and rewriting these songs until they reach their zeniths. Thank you everyone for being patient. Here is a possible song list for the record.

New Songs!

I recently had the great opportunity of recording two of my songs, "Firework Shows" and "Beautifully Deconstructed" at Hideout Studios in Austin, Texas with a brilliant engineer named Steve Mazur. Both songs were performed live in the studio with sparse production, allowing for the vocal performances and songwriting to shine through. My hat goes off to Steve, and to the owner of the studio, Mark Cravotta for all their hard work in helping me walk away with a great couple of singles.
